Description
Born Malcolm Little, was an African-American Muslim minister and human rights activist. While giving a speech on February 1965 in New York City, a man rushed through the crown and shot him with a sawn-off shotgun then two other men joined and shot him a total of 16 times. All three men who killed him are members of Nation of Islam. Despite often being labeled as a cold-hearted radical, the world was sympathetic towards Malcom after his assassination. He died at age 39.

Interesting info. I never knew he was shot by 'his own' so to speak. Perhaps his views on Islam were too moderate for Nation of Islam?
